We offer tuition for university preparation courses IGCSE, A LEVEL, DEGREE FOUNDATION, Medical Degree Foundation courses.

International Degree Foundation Programme (IDFP)

The IDFP programme runs for one academic year at the end of which our students are guaranteed entry into one of our partner universities. Till date, about 500 students have passed through the programme and had successfully gone on to Universities in the UK.
There are three start dates in a year: September, January and April. Most of our students start the programme in September.
The programme is taught through Lectures, Practicals and projects.

The International Medical Foundation Programme (IMFP)

Students who wish to study Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and other related courses enroll for the IMFP programme. One academic year is spent with us while the rest is spent at the Medical School in Hungary- University of Debrecen, the leading university.
The programme is assessed through a combination of tests, assignments, coursework, examinations by GIC and the medical school.

Following SSCE / GCSE or O Levels, students enroll with us to take a 2 academic year A Level course for entry into universities. Our A Level classes are quite small and students are offered a wide range of courses. Tests, assignments and examinations are conducted regularly as part of the rigorous assessment procedures for the programme. Our college is affiliated to the British Council as an examination centre.

Cambridge IGCSE

We offer the programme for a period of one year to students who wish to retake their examination because they did not make all their papers, or for two years for those who are new or just completed SS2 class. Students are assisted to develop their study skills and are exposed to examination techniques. A wide range of subjects are offered including a Modern Foreign Language.

Easter and Summer Revision Courses

These courses take place during the Easter and summer holidays and cover subjects at the O and the A Levels. The programmes are designed to help students understand the syllabuses better and prepare them for the Cambridge examinations.
The summer intensive course is well patronized while the level of patronage for Easter is low.

Pre Masters Programme:

The Pre-Masters programme is for candidates who are HND holders or those who graduated with a 3rd Class Degree or a pass Degree and wish to do their Masters programme in the UK. On successful completion, candidates are guaranteed entry into the University of East London or the University of Bedfordshire for the Masters Degree any area of Business of Computing. The programme runs for 3 months.

CISCO IT Essentials1&2

Global International College recently became a CISCO Networking Academy and commenced offering
IT Essentials I- PC Hardware & Software and
IT Essentials 2 Networking Operating System
this year. The courses lead to CCNA and CCNP certification. We have a trained instructor for the programme which is mainly delivered online.

SAT

The SAT is an aptitude test. It is administered by the College Board Corporation. SAT is an aptitude test in Math, English and Writing, students seeking admission into undergraduate studies in the US needs to take SAT.
SAT takes about approximately 4hrs and it is a maximum of 2400 marks. English section is 1600 marks whilst Math section is 800 marks, the Writing section is measured on a scale of (0-6 points).SAT is offered 6 times a year. Scores are valid for 5years
SAT subject tests were formerly known as SAT II which are given to assess skills in specific area subjects which includes Math, History, Physical Science, Literature and Foreign Languages.
The score is for 800 marks and it is only required by the student seeking admission into Ivy League Universities in America.

TOEFL

The purpose of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is to test the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. It is a standardized test which evaluates the potential ability of a student to use and understand the Standard American English at College level.
It is required by several colleges and universities in USA and Canada and all over the world.
The exams consist of 4 sections: Listening and Comprehensive, Structure, Reading Comprehensive and Writing
The highest score in the exam is 677 for paper based test and 120 for TOFEL, IBT. The TOFEL score is valid for two years and then is deleted from the official date base.

IELTS

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test of English Language proficiency .It is jointly managed by university of Cambridge Examination and the British council
It is a complete range of English Language skills. There is an option of choosing the academic module which is intended for those who wish to enroll in universities and other institution of higher education or the General training module which is intended for those planning to undertake non academic training or to gain work experience for immigration purposes
IELTS is accepted by most Australians, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand and South Africa Institutions and by an increasing number of academic institutionsin the USA and by various professional organizations.
It is also a requirement for migrating to Australia and Canada.

GRE

Graduate Record Examination or GRE is a standard test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in English speaking countries as created and administered by the Educational Testing service (ETS) The exam consist of verbal, Quantitative and Analytical writing, It is required for admission to most graduate programs other than law, business and Medicine.
GRE is a computer based exam. The exam consists of three graded sections plus a required experimental section that is not included in the reported score.
The entire test procedure takes about 3 hours.
The scoring pattern of GRE is on; Verbal (800), Math (800), and Analytical writing section is graded or a scale of (0-6 points) total score is 1,600.

GMAT

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized test for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies.
GMAT is required for admission to business schools and MBA programs in North America and other countries.
It is an online computer adaptive test; it measures verbal, mathematics and analytical skill. The test is scored out of 800 and lasts roughly 4hrs.
GMAT is offered all year round. The scores are valid for 5 years.
